Angel+Aaron’s Stylish Woodend Sanctuary Wedding

Cheers erupted as Angel and Aaron made their way down the staircase. Grinning from ear to ear they weaved effortlessly through the crowd of family and friends. As they settled in, Koko took a deep breath and began her speech.

“So I’m a little nervous, sorry!” she began, holding a small piece of paper in her hand. “I’ve been attempting to write this speech since Aaron first sent me a picture of the engagement ring. And I just haven’t been able to do it, because every time I went to write words onto paper, my eyes would well up with tears. The love that I have for my baby sister overwhelms me. So bear with me cause I’m a crier.” She said with tears in her eyes, as the lighthearted laughter rippled through audience.

Glancing at Angel she started “When I look back and really think about your life, I realize that you’ve put in so much hard work.”

“You are so fierce. You hold nothing back and I’m positive that our mother and your father can say that the greatest thing they’ve created together, is you.” Everyone clapped and cheered heartily in agreement, a few tearfully.

“And as I look around this room and see so many families here, there are parents and step-parents, all of your aunts and uncles and cousins. We have Aaron and his family now. And we’ve all come from far away. This is a modern family.” The audience broke out in applause. Koko continued, “This is what she does…this is her magic. This is who you’re marrying. She brings families together. She creates love where it doesn’t exist. And she chose, without a doubt, the greatest guy of all time.”

“Aaron, I’m so happy you’re part of the family. Thank you for loving my sister. I look forward to spending more time with you guys. Cheers!” Koko raised her glass and smiled widely. Angel and Aaron clinked their glasses together, along with their family and friends. Everyone whooped and cheered in agreement.
